You know what I just figured out?
With a bit of practice, you can swallow by simply twitching the muscles in your throat. I can't really do a good job of explaining it. But it seems that it might allow one to drink from a bottle continuously without removing it from one's mouth to swallow.

How useful. Or not...

What, you mean you couldn't do that before? How'd you drink vodka then?

Okay, can do.
Usually, swallowing would involve removing the bottle from one's mouth and closing one's mouth. I figured out I can swallow while a continuous stream of liquid is flowing from the bottle, which I need not remove from my mouth.

Go me.

You didn't know that?.

That is utterly nessecary for quick drinking.
Though eventually you need to stop swallowing. I'm not sure why, it might have something to do with the continuous flow of liquid blocking the air. But that makes no sense. So yeah.

But that's what I've always done.

What the hell's the standard method then?

What a novel evolution, eh? I am the superman!

Wouldn't that hurt just a bit attempting to drink an entire bottle of vodka at once in a continuous stream?

No. Though I've never tried it any other way.

How else do you down a pint?

Cool.

It loses the novelty value when you don't know it has any.

And you can still breathe... but only out the way, it seems. Best thing to do is take a deep breath in, and slowly exhale for as long as you take to drink. Breathing in is impossible because you'd drown otherwise, I believe, since all the liquid would fall into your lungs, or all the air would end up in your stomach. Either way, you wouldn't respirate.

If you've got the lung capacity, you can do it. Cos downing it does stop your breathing. You can't do with it if your a smoker, sadly.

Vodkas easy to drink, I don't know what all the fuss is about. If you've got a good layer of dairy products on your stomach wall it goes right through you and you can set light to your urine. I wouldn't recommend downing it with the intent of absorbing it... you will, I repeat will, pass out.

Oh. That explains it. Much better than my non-explanation.

I'm a smoker and I can down a pint in one. You don't need much lung capacity to not breathe for 10 seconds.

And I've never passed out after vodka. But I like cheese and milk. Bleh.

I've just figured out that if you synchronize it properly, you can inhale and exhale in steps through the nose while continuing. Unfortunately, I also figured out I'm rather bad at it.

Don't mind me asking.. but how did you figure this out? Was there a long potruding instrument deep in your throat when you realise you could attempt such feat?
