Same here. Postal Service has a more upbeat feel.
You might want to check out The Notwist if you haven't yet. The album Neon Golden is one of the defining pieces of the lap-pop genre.

It is just two guys. Its a singer songwriter type collaboration... the singer is from Death Cab for Cutie, I don't know who the other guy is.

The Postal Service sucks. I sent a package to my mom and they messed it up. There were a lot of valuable items in there. Perhaps next time, I will choose FedEx.

I quite agree! As of yet, I've only heard Give Up, but Nothing Better is certainly my favorite. This Place is a Prison is a close second, though. Their music is just so soothing and pretty!

Give up is the only CD although their are quite a few remixes and stuff. Nothing Better is my favorite song too.
