Go back to the Nationstates forum page and click on international incidents.

Think of something ingenious and see how it gets accepted.

Try p&p roleplaying with real life people. Its more fun and its a way to combine socialising and gaming. Thats what i do, for 18 years now and i never lost interest. Or larping, its funny to whack people with foam weapons. :D

exfriend? what happened there? I can't find an emoticon with a raised eyebrow, therefor, i don't feel that emotion. If they had one though, i'd be all over that shit. I'd be lookin skeptical/ curious like a motherfucker.

Nonononono. Don't go to II. Go to NS. Lots of interesting stuff in there. You can find RPs on everything from demons to national wars. And the players are really good.

You should try steel then, but it needs a lot of discipline and that can take out the mindless fun that comes with it.

Do not use more than 10 digits to describe anything in your military (unless it's something small, like dollars, euros, or some similar currency, in which case do not use more than 15 digits). If it's expensive items, do not use more than 5 digits. Naval ships should be even more limited. For example, you do not have 2,958,462,187,344,064 soldiers, bombers, tanks, jeeps, cruisers, carriers, battleships, fighters, pieces of furniture, combined livestock, variations of political opinions among your citizenry, or all those put together.

Roleplays must be more detailed than "I invade you, I win."

Gravships do not belong in modern-tech roleplay.

...and do not, under any circumstances, post "1 n00k5 j00 4LL!!!" As a matter of fact, avoid the use of 1337speak at all costs.

sir cogitation! your last post to me was so curt, and made me feel insect sized. this one is awesome. thankyou for the information. i have good common sense in Rping- i just have to get back the desire. i am one of those types who has to know all the details and history behind all that i get involved in, and ns is basically an institution- so i think that may be the reason why i havent gotten into it yet. thank you again.

I actually don't remember the last time I replied to one of your posts. :\

While everything I said was true, it was meant primarily to incite laughter. It's true, but it's also obvious just as "Don't walk across a busy highway" is true-but-obvious. You can find serious and more useful roleplaying advice on the "NationStates" and "International Incidents" boards. Posts that I sign as "NationStates Self-Proclaimed Court Jester" should not be taken seriously under any circumstances.

I recommend that you read the sticky topics in "NationStates (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=1223)" and "International Incidents (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=1230)".
