It proved unwieldy for this one. There were complaints raised about the security of TG and MSN voting, so this is the easiest way.

I always consider making more puppets to check out different approaches to governing, but then I don't do it because I'm lazy.

A lot of people were uncomfortable with offending the other contestants. That's why I originally suggested to Aerou that we allow private voting in the Nicest Guy contest; because we were getting too many abstains. We figured people would be more comfortable voting in private. And we did get quite a few TGed votes.

Well, there weren't any actual ties. There were many almost-ties, including me vs. Lunatic Goofballs, which went 16-17. Had there been a tie there, I can't imagine the kind of screaming that would have endured.

I just think it's silly to get so worked up about such a pointless and trivial award at all. I mean, if you don't win 'Nicest NS Girl', are you really going to be that upset?

In the highly unlikely event that it was rigged, it wouldn't be her, considering that it's now 4:15AM here, and she's been asleep for several hours while all of these votes have been coming in. I have every confidence that this is accurate.

To be honest, the real winner in all of this is Aerou , she's the only one of the four who didn't bitch about the results once. Even I did, quite publicly with good reason at the time. Shaed couldn't have possibly rigged the poll to her favour, she was asleep. Furthermore, why would she continue to steam ahead in votes *AFTER* the poll was closed if it were not a fair poll? (though it may say something about the literacy skills of some voters ;)) I don't understand your point, though. Do you honestly feel that Shaed may have cheated?

The secret ballot was fair because some people don't want to publicly pick favourites, like me, and in fact *most* people. Furthermore, it was you who raised concerns about MSN and TG voting. So I removed them, making me unable to manipulate the votes secretly, considering that obviously neither myself nor Sanct can be trusted with it. This was the best way possible and I do not feel that there was any foul play.

Furthermore, I have two points about you transferring your votes- Firstly, those votes technically do not belong to you. People voted for you, not Aerou. While it's a noble gesture, it's unfortunately unfair to those that voted.

Secondly, nowhere did Shaed or Tink ever raise an argument about the scores or the results of any part of the actual competition itself. Go back and read the threads involved, if you like, and you'll find that the disagreement took place before the competition started. They have both been very gracious throughout this competition itself.
