Lebanon Vs. Syria?

A(n) (ex)government official from Lebanon was blown to bits today, and the Syrians are expected. If the Lebanese find out it was the Syrians, then do you think they are likely to attack? This attack on Lebanon has probably sprung up a new situation in the Mid. East, like the one w/ Palestine and Israel. And do you think the US will strike Syria for this (being that the US has already put sanctions on them and threatened action agains them because of allowing insurgents into Iraq)

Thats an interesting thought. But I would be really suprised if they did.

with the possible acceptance of a palestinian state the possibility is alot better
Lebanon has always been the odd arab about, I think this was bound to happen
Fr. Hurley, my foreign affairs advisor, had an interesting point; what is the only arab state allah did not bless with any oil? Lebanon. what is the only functioning arab democracy? Lebanon. what is the only arab state to run out of oil? Bahrain. what is the only arab state solidly moving tword western style democracy? Bahrain.
