Angelic Nostalgia

Darn, I miss 'Angel'. It was just getting interesting. Is there any news on if they'll get back into another season?

My favourite scene: Angel and Spike debating the relative virtues of 'Astronauts vs. Cavemen: Who would win in a fight?'

There was some public pressure (like a billboard and letter campaign) for the series to go to a new network, like 'Buffy,' however I am doubtful it will happen as the series was not profitable enough. They are however doing a short series (four) of telemovies. These telemovies are not about Angel or Buffy but rather personal stories of some supporting characters. I think they are Willow, Anya, Gunn and Wes.

I can't wait until next month when here (Australia) the final series will be available on DVD. I have the first three seasons in a series of sex box sets as well as season four in an un-matching flat set (3DVDs in the one case, as opposed to a case for each DVD) which is a little sad as I now cannot have the whole series in the same cases to look mighty fine upon my shelves.

On another note I think that the apocolypse that the senior partners wished for was in fact the one which Angel carried out. What a plot twist that would be! That the senior partners, like Angel in the fifth series, was in fact a lamb in wolf's clothing, allbeit a lamb with huge teeth.

Okay, that's a scary thought.

I like to think that there is *something* they can yet do to avert it.

No, no! You misunderstand me! What I mean is that the senior partners formed WolfRam and Hart to carry out Angel's apocolypse against all this evil that they (the lawyers) have bought together, plus the mechanicals required to rebuild it quickly. I did not mean an end of the world apocolypse, but an apocolypse of the established order of evil.

That's truely mind-blowing: that the senior partners are "good". Does that make the "powers that be" bad? :)

No, they can be good too. The way I see it its more like they both just have diffrent ideas about how to fight evil so they split and worked towards their own objectives.:)
