Being single is great, you never have to deal with crazy female mind games and antics, you don’t have anyone trying to cuddle with you (ung!), you don’t have to waste time keeping them entertained and best of all, you don’t have to spend a dime on them.

Guess who is getting a valentines gift from me this year; nobody! I am going to use my hard earned money for something more productive!

If the truth be known, I hate being alone. Sex isn't a problem when you can use words to great effect, and when you know what you're doing, but living alone with just my cat and dog pretty much sucks. That's one of the main reasons I'm so pleased that all my children and grandchildren live nearby. I kill two birds with one stone by riding my mountain bike over to visit them, getting some good exercise in the process. I almost always call first to make sure it's ok for me to come over.

Another big downside of the single life for me is food. My ex was a fantastic cook and eating pretty much out of cans bites the big one! Heh!

But Australia has more sheep than New Zealand probably always has.
Per capita i think they have more now but in the 1980s we had more per capita and in the early 90's the same until a couple of seasons of drought then wicked frost decimated the lambing stock. :(

Yeah, being single sucks. I'd like a girlfriend, but I'm a little too shy about it. Plus it doesn't help having high standards.

I miss having someone to smooch on sometimes.. but not anyone I've dated in the past. I never wish I hadn't broken it off. I do hope to meet a good guy and build a loving relationship one day.. but not today. I have some issues to work on before I get involved again. Like forgiving, letting go of the past.. moving on. Until then I won't let anything flourish.
