11 kids, hes not even 30. Is it just me or do military families pop out kids like fucking rabbits. Hey, some one in the family is going to be overseas the majority of their life and you want to have 5 kids? illogic sense tingling

4 of the kids are hers from a previous marriage. But still....thats a LOT of children to take care of. They have an 8 month old and a 12 month old. Only 4 months apart??? Wow!

I come from a military family and from my dad's second marriage. He only has two and I'm one of them.

That can't be, can it? The 1 year old has to be more than 12 months. Wouldn't they have to be a minimum of 9 months apart?

its my understanding that he had all those kids before going into the military, the reserves are the only ones who would take him and now he's called up.
so really its not that military people should stop having kids, its that people with bunches of kids should think long and hard before joining the military.

Whew. I thought that there was some secret part of the female anatomy that I'd been left in the dark about that let you get pregnant while you were pregnant. I was thinking to myself, "How could I have missed THAT in school?"

As someone who grew up around the military and has experienced too many trips to the commisary on payday, it's not you. There seems to be mandatory policy of a brat every two years, at least with the army and air force. I am just glad that I never had to live in housing, being around my siblings was bad enough.

Maybe one of them is adopted. And I have no problem with military, or any other family, having lots of kids. I think it is great.

I'm guessing the 1 year old is probably 18-22 months, not exactly 1 year old.
At least the folks didn't murder any of their babies while they were still in the womb through the 'legal' crime of abortion.

Not in the Navy, though aircraft carriers and ships aren't always the safest places.
The funniest thing about this story is some European posters ridiculing the guy, while European governments are begging their citizens with huge cash subsidies to have kids, and failing. Most of the Western world would kill for more people like this guy. ;)
