I'm nearly 22 and grew another inch in the last year, so don't hold your breath that you'll be that height for long. I was 5'4" when I was 16 and I'm now 6'2" so there ya go...

I heard somewhere that 5'9" was average height for guys, but looking at my friends, who are all my own age, I'm by far the shortest there. Weird.

It's his 'I lost all my limbs in nam' gimmick he's been running with. A few people always bite, but its getting kind of tiresome. Maybe if he kept the gimmick consistent it might work better.

I'll have you know my story has been consistent since the first time I related it. My legs were lost to the VC, while I had that farming accident in 89 that took my arms. My left eye was taken out by a thorn and my right ear was cut off by the VC.

I can firmly attest that whoever got that information used an unreliable source. I don't have scientific data, but I can tell you from plain experience that people are much taller in general than 5'9".

Hey, when you're 5'7", you don't use as much energy as bigger people do. You're also pretty much the perfect height for the way the world is "built".

if it makes you feel any better, the guy i'm really into is your height. he's an inch taller than me.. and my entire life, my turn on has been tall guys, but you never know.

also, if it makes you feel any better, i knew a guy who had a second growth spurt when he was in college and grew to be really tall - 6'6 or something.

reminds me of a song that bob schneider wrote about a guy who was 23 and 3 feet tall, but then shot up to 7'4. yeah.

anyway, i'm rambling. don't worry about your height is my point.
