Ignorance of the news (re DPRK's nuclear weapons)

Why all the big flap about the DPRK's nukes NOW?
That they have nuclear weapons is not news. They've been boasting about them, and the US has taken them seriously, since 2003.

Where have those of you who are so shocked been? Do you simply not follow the news?

And why is the media making such a big to do? Do they really think people don't remember this?

The only surprise is they've admitted it.

That's my point. They admitted it almost 2 years ago so why the surprise now? It doesn't make sense.

You have to remember that the americans dont pay attention to anything that the news media doesnt instruct them explicitly to pay attention to.

And they dont remember things or reason critically.

Well, well... Mr Kim Jong Il has had nukes for awhile. This is no suprise... The press is just bored. So this is the news story for the day. Tomorrow it will be some other dipshit country in the news. Probably Iran saying that allah is coming to destroy America any time. :mp5:
I say that Bush should come out and say that we dont give a rats ass about Mr Il. Tell him that he is a lying lunatic. That he doesnt have nukes. Il's whole meglamania is built around aquiring power. If we tell him that he is full of it and is lying. Then it will bust his little ego. Maybe then he will go mad and do something stupid that gets him killed. :headbang: Isnt this world great that we live in?

It's the first time they have admitted it in english , not their jibber-jabber.

And as we all know, nothing's true until it is in english, ;)
