Wow. A riot and a stabbing at IKEA.

There's an IKEA not too far from where I live, and my house is full of IKEA furniture. And I was there when it opened. But we didn't riot.

Does anyone have any idea if there was some special offer that made people go crazy?

Eh, if you've even been to Edmonton, you'd understand. In that place you have to make your own entertainment.

Trust me, if you've ever been in IKEA then you'll know how badly you get urges to stab people

That's usually at the checkout (I go in - uncontrollable urge to buy everything I can load on two carts - then the checkout - and after my wallet is empty then the urge comes).

These people hadn't even gotten in the door yet.
