You are a captain of a ship in a war and your ship is sinking. Half of the lifeboats are destroyed and the other half are badly overloaded and if they take any more passengers they might sink. You are on one lifeboat and you are rowing away from the wreck and there are peolpe in the water all around you.

DO YOU 1. Pick up more sailors and risk sinking
2. sail past and try and save the sailors you have.


but say you chose option 2 but the youngest crew member manages to swim to your boat and grab the side do you

1. pull him in
2. push him away

say you then decide to push him away and you as captain order a sailor to push him in. now imagine you are the sailor do you


1. follow orders and kill the boy
2. Haul him in and risk sinking the boat and your fellow sailors
