2. Of or relating to a system of numeration having 2 as its base.
3. Chemistry. Consisting of or containing only molecules consisting of two kinds of atoms.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that he's asking about "Getting to 1st base with a girl", "getting to second base with a girl", etc.

I don't know about outside the United States, but in the USA, it's somewhat common among male adolescents to describe how a date went using baseball metaphors.

That's my best guess, anyway.

So something like:

Well to me and my mates, when were at high school, it meant

1st Base: Getting off with her

2nd Base: Getting to play with the upper half of her body ;)

3rd Base: Getting to play with the lower half of her body ;)

4th Base: Going all the way :D (and for all concerned never happened) :(

Would make it less vague right? ;)

Well in that case, phrases like:

"Did it hurt?... When you fell out of heaven?" (Will Smith, I think)

or

"Girl, your feet must be tired, cause you were running trough my head ALL day!" (Will Smith, just love that guy)

DON't use them!

the system around my town was:

1st = making out
2nd base = groping a girl's bozoms.
3rd = oral or manual sex (with partner)
"home run" = genital sex.

Yeah, except there's no fourth base.. crossing home plate would be a home run, which I never had the good fortune to 'hit' either. :p

Well I was gonna post a pic of someone giving the finger but I'd prob get banned for that so did a search for base 1 number systems for the hell of it....

http://www.dwheeler.com/essays/bases.html

Base 1
Base 1 has some interesting properties; each position is raised to the power of one. If we only get one symbol, and declare it to be "0" (with the value zero), the only value you can represent is zero. We could cheat a little bit, and declare that the one symbol we get is "1" (with the value of one); this way "1" represents one, "11" represents two, and so on. It's basically like using scratch marks on a wall, but you don't get to group them. There's the problem of being able to represent zero, but by cheating further we could declare that an empty area (with no marks) represents zero. Alternatively, you could say that you can't represent zero with this number system, instead you have to represent zero through arithmetic (e.g., ``1-1''). Note that the decimal point is irrelevant; "11", "1.1", and ".11" all have the same value (two) in base 1. You can still use fractions to represent numbers other than whole numbers: "1/11" is one half, "11/111" is two-thirds, and so on.

You could even cheat further by using two symbols ("0" and "1" standing for zero and one), but this kind of cheating wouldn't help you. Since one to any power is still only one, adding zeros as a placeholder won't help you. For example, "10", "100", and "1000" would all have the same value (one).

I can't really agree that this is a valid system. The guy readily admits he is "cheating" in order to make it work. Even using a system of 1=1, 11=2, 111=3, etc, you kind of need to accept that there are unwritten leading 0's - (Declaring the empty area to be zero is the same as writing "0", IMHO.)

Actualy it is used to a point in CPU creation improvements (just general idea's on how to improve performance in representation) theoredicaly alows storage compression farther then base2 so that you can get more into both the buffer and in your individual word size (postentialy doubling data in individual word size)

Well its not really meant to be serious...well I'm not...but I would mention that nothing was in existance before the value of zero was introduced ...

I only recognized the metaphors. I didn't know their detailed meanings. That is, I knew that the more intimate you're being with your date, the more "bases" you get, but I didn't know how intimate first base is, how intimate second base is, etc. In other words, I understood the question and clarified the question for you, but I didn't know the answer.

2nd Base: Clubbing a girl 2 times on the head and dragging her back to your cave.

Not necasarily if she stops the play in the infield then you continue latter then surely youd have run into 4th base.
