Never commit a crime in the Walmart parking lot

last week my neice had her purse stolen from a shopping cart in the local Walmart parking lot. she got distracted and left it right in the cart, right in front of the store in the parking space she had used (too lazy to put it in the cart corral)

she didnt have any money in the purse but she did have credit cards, her new camera cell phone, drivers license, check book, plus all the usual stuff women keep in purses.

after cancelling her cards and unused checks she remembered that walmart has a million cameras in their parking lot. the police went over, looked at the tapes, saw clearly who took the purse, went over to their house, arrested them and brought my neices stuff back to her.

so you may be thinking that thats quite a swift payback for the lark of taking someone purse. no money, no chance to use the credit cards (in a small town you cant use someone elses card, everyone knows it isnt yours) just one 7 minute phone call and then a knock at the door and off to jail.

it only gets worse.....

when my neice got her cell phone back they had removed the sim. the phone co sent her a new one that came yesterday. when she turned on her phone what did she see? they had replaced her wallpaper with PORNOGRAPHIC PICTURES OF THEMSELVES!

so now my neice is has told everyone she knows about these pictures, has shown them to quite a few people and is considering posting these extremely graphic pictures on the net on one of those amateur porn sites with the "star's" real name on them. (you cant tell who her bf is but her face is very clear).

the moral of the story is ...

if you see a purse in a cart in the walmart parking lot, just keep walking, its not worth the public humiliation.

How old is your niece? Naked shots of themselves could be considered a crime.....

My sense of moral decency is enough to stop me from doing that, but that's just me personally.

On the one hand it's kinda her fault cuz it really was dumb to forget her purse in the cart.

On the other hand, NICE COMEBACK! That's so awesome! :D

Wow...

Normally I'm not such a fan of Walmart (I've refused to shop there since I started finding out about their employment practices), but to this I say...

Go Walmart!

Ahh my good man. You don't have to be 18 to have a credit card. You can have one attached to your parents account! ;)
