My good thanks to Zeppistan and those that helped me out a bit

I just felt like posting this on the forum because it bumps up my post count by 1, and I don't like being Uber Spamgirl compared to Elite Jolt Forum User.

Moving on,
This weekend, I posted a topic about my letter that I had to send to a Catholic kid in private school that will influence him/her to shape up in 8th grade and to not think that public high school would be a better alternative for next year. I asked for tips on how to make my letter more influential, Zepp came and posted his own demented version of the letter. I don't have the exact quote, but here's my editting of it.

But as long as your parents are willing to shell out the cash for a better education in better surroundings that you could care less about, can you please have them contact my parents to see if they will pay for me instead? Because we wouldn't be here if we didn't have to be, and to be completely honest the fact that you are throwing away an opportunity that we would be thrilled to have is really only screwing up your own life.

THAT, plus the slight editting from Kat, and a little bit of help here and there from others created such a good letter that my L.A. teacher loved it so much. She read it to the rest of the class and they loved it, and lauged at the humor I added.

(btw, forgot who it was, but whomever told me about the "No Child Left Begind Act" also helped blow my teacher away)

Apparently the teacher phoned her mother (the teacher of these 8th grade idiots) and read her the whole letter. She loved it as much.

But even better, the girl I love used my letter to start up a great conversation that went so well I nearly asked her out on the spot. Really, I now know what keeps me here.

I didn't have the heart to tell my poor Language Arts teacher (in front of the class) that all the good parts were taken from uncredited strangers on the internet. I feel bad about it, but it's not like my teacher is supposed to come out of nowhere and assign us extra homework that has nothing to do with our regular cirriculum (sp).

Just wanted to say that. Thanks, to those who deserve it.
