Well can it? And if not what about if we've collonised the moon by the time of it's comming - will they get the dregs from the bottoms of the cups of wrath?

Considering the fact that the biblical Armageddon is an event which is never going to happen I would say yes - it can be avoided.

Armageddon is the event that the book of revelations refers to as the final battle between good & evil.

Hell every generation thinks they are so cool and assumes Gods going to show up just for them. Chances are the human race will go on for a very long time. You should spend more time working to preserve future generations I think.

Spend some time cleaning up the environment, teaching poor children how to read, do all sorts of good deeds and all that. Stop thinking that Gods going to push the Big Red Button. What a silly notion.

Oh. You mean that whole biblical armaggedon. In which case, it will not so much be avoided as completely unnoticed. However, I do think we are screwed. In the absence of a real armageddon on the horizen we've made our own. Us humans can never accept a good thing.

Well, now that Armageddon has been added to the Criterion collection, some might consider it essential viewing. I, however, maintain that it still got too much Bruce Willis in it and should be avoided at all costs.

You must consider that you didn't saw much of him on earth AND that in the end, he left our planet and never came back again.^^

Yeah. Some girls in my psychology class yesterday were saying how they cried at the end of that film. I laughed at the film and I laughed at them.

I cried too, but actually I cried because they murdered the innocent meteor. He was such a nice guy, he did no harm to anyone, and they just murdered him.
