I know this really has NOTHING to do with ANYTHING, but I was wondering what your worst ebay experiences are. I'm bored. :-)

not so much as an experience as a story...

theres a guy selling a photo of two 1997 F1 cars racing, but the photos signed by Ayrton Senna - who died in 1994

high bid was $24.99 last time i checked....

someones about to have a bad ebay experience

Some farker reported a case where their item arrived carefully packaged in soiled Depends. That's much worse than anything that ever happened to me.

Ah, it was when Saddam posted those pictures of WMD factory vehicles - you know, the neat ones that can move around and produce tons of WMD, and those missiles that go with it that can be ready in 45 minutes.

IIRC, Bush had the top bid on that, and Saddam never came through...

My worst Ebay experience. Four years ago I decided I needed a PC to help with my University course. Rather than weeing away my cash on one from a shop I decided to buy one second hand. I found one that had entry level specs, and was going very cheaply (£300), with a Buy Price! I made the bid and automatically won the auction, since I don't have a credit card I used my parents card to buy the machine. After about a week this badly wrapped parcel arrived at my house - and inside the PC. Long story short it worked fine, no complaints what so ever - in fact I'm still using most of it right now.
By default this is my worst experience of using Ebay, being that it was my only experience of using Ebay.

I was banned from selling things on ebay (and lost my account with more than 80 feedback) under their VeRO system for selling items from an online game.

I did manage to clear about 580$ in the two week blitzkrieg before they shut me down though.

Now i've got an account I just buy things with, though I may open up a new seller account one day.

Well I don't know if you could call it worst. But I was warned about fraud and ebay protects the sellers more then the buyers.

I set a limit of $100 for fraud before I stopped using them.

I was defrauded that amount on 3 cases. Ebay did nothing so I stopped using them.....

One time, I spent a quarter million dollars on a virgin mary sandwich.

Talk about buyer's remorse.

Are you sure it wasn't just because Bush didn't have enough money to pay for it :D ?
