I know we're here...and we have a pretty strong contingent...I just wanted to know who you are (if you haven't yet identified yourself as Canadian, or even if you have), where you live (not specifically...I'm no stalker), where you are politically, and your favourite Canadian (someone famous please), and whether or not you think Tim Hortons is overrated (the chain, not the person).

Tim Hortons? Overrated.

I'm sorry that the poll lumps certain provinces and territories together and not others...I'm not implying any similarity, just trying to fit everything into the space available!

EDIT: By the way, overseas means you are Canadian, living overseas.

Socially left-wing, but generally fiscally conservative.

I like Rick Mercer, Tommy Douglas, General Romeo Dallaire, Lester B. Pearson. I'd like to see Gordon Campbell defenestrated. I hope the Randy White's of the province never shut up, so that no one forgets the social conservative roots of the Conservative party.

Tim Hortons? Overrated. And bought out by Wendys.

Also overrated? Molson Canadian and their commercials. Especially now that they've merged with Coors.

WHOA you know when you spend too much work time on a forum if someone knows you by name.

Here is my stance on some common issues....

AS for me I would say center right. I am not THAT right wing. I still believe in socialized medicine, cheap education, I believe gays should have equal rights. BUT I think EI should be totally changed, basically one only has to work 750 works to get on the gravy train, it should be changed to about 3 years to qualify. I think unless you are a single mother or impaired on some way, you should not receive welfare.

BUt I also think that we should be providing very cheap education and good quaility public schools so people can actually work out of poverty instead of going around in a poverty circle.

I completely disagree with G W's new social security plan. Being able to invest your pension in mutal funds and stocks is really asking for trouble.

Soooo

I think we should be proud of Tim hortons, it is the fastest growing fast food chain in the WORLD right now. And crispy cream tastes like crap.

The people i admire right now would be ummm the men and women of our fighting forces around the world! ;)
