I love computer game music, I can't get enough of it. Some of the most lifting and enjoyable music can be found on computer games... What is your opinion of Video game music?

Yaay! VGM offers some of the best instrumental melodies I know! My favorite games are the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean 2, and the Metroid games. I often visit OverClocked Remix (http://www.ocremix.org/) to download great remakes, and Nobuo Uematsu's "The Black Mages" with arranged Final Fantasy battle music is one of my favorite CDs.

I love this site. I'm so glad I found it. It even has music from Sonic Adventure, but Skies of Arcadia is my all-time fave game.

I just LOVE video game music. some songs are actually national anthems for a few of my puppets, as well as for the Plutonian Empire. :D

Star Control 2 had damn cool music.I concur.
I also believe Lufia and the Fortress of Doom, while the worst game I ever finished, had absolutely amazing music. That's, in fact, why I'm not unhappy I finished it. The game had boring, repetitive battles, horrible writing (past the first few hours), and many of the puzzles made no sense, but it had ambiance.

Though a lot of game music is crappy, there is some I really like. FFVII and Baldur's Gate come to mind.

I spent a couple of years looking into writing music for video games, but after the third company rejected me, I went into the club scene instead. It all worked out for the better.

The original Red Alert (remember the Domination Pack?!) had some of the best game music I have ever heard. How can you beat "Hell March"? I have yet to find a single game song that matches that for the adrenaline it shoots through the gamer. I also love the original Age of Wonders music, amazing flute stuff, espeically "Hobbit's Theme". Go Hobbits!!
