Secondly...your teacher would risk losing his/her teaching certification, as well as being slapped with a statuatory rape charge, even if you were of legal age because of the 'power imbalance' between student and teacher. That's NO job, and a criminal record. Is sex worth that?

Personally I think any age difference of more than 3 years is too much but that is because my 17 year old sister is 4 years younger than me. Dating someone 3 years younger is too much like dating someone her age and dating someone 3 years older might give her ideas I don't want her to have. Being a responsible brother is so limiting.

I can count at least two that I wanted desparately to get it on with ;)

Well, we eliminated the far extreme, 85 or so and up, from our estimates, as at that age sexual relations is of minimal concern. We figured the age was mid-30s, early-40s.

Those age differences become so minimal the older you get...5 years difference back in highschool would've been creepy...now it's nothing.

Sorry if they hit a nerve, but our schools and students have enough problems without complicating them with teacher-students relationships. Let the children grow up with messing with their minds and hormones. They can do that well enough with adult interference.

It hit a nerve with me because I hate it when someone refers to a completely natural event, sex between two consenting human beings as "disgusting". There is nothing "disgusting" about sex. Like love, sex knows no boundaries at all. Including boundaries set by despicable human "laws".
