Double speed? That sounds...odd.

I got the joke. That's why I included the adverb "actually" at the start of my statement.

Excellent (though incomplete) list except for the bold italic ones, to whom I say: NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!! Rage Against the Machine is the most hypocritical, uncreative, shit-shack band I've heard in a while. They're terrible! Jimi Hendrix (note correct spelling), while not as bad, is pretty boring and uncreative as well.

As to The Who THEY ARE FUCKIN' AWESOME. I have the following albums:
It's Hard
It's Hard (Remastered)
My Generation: The Very Best of the Who
The Who at Dallas
Tommy

I know it's not a complete collection, but it's enough for me to be a huge fan. BTW Do not get It's Hard - it's a terrible album IMHO.

Jimi Hendrix ... is pretty boring and uncreative as well.
Seriously, wtf? Hendrix changed A LOT of things in rock music. Things were definitely different after him. And boring? He changed his styles in his career, and the day he died was the day he had planned to meet with Miles Davis to discuss making an album together.

Is it just me, or are the Flaming Lips (along with Wilco) getting worse in proportion to how much the critics like them?
