I like The Smashing Pumpkins more than the Cure or the Clash, so answer me this. I think my favourite is "Mayonaise", though it's a very hard choice.
My thread is more interesting because there's a poll for you!

Cherub Rock, Disarm, Today.
In fact just the entire Siamese Dream album.

In fact just the entire Siamese Dream album.
I agree, it's virtually a perfect album. Definitely in my top 3.
PS... you might be confused as to why I did not put my favourite in the poll. I put all the songs that were famous and that people were most likely to vote for.

I think the song is called "Tristessa". It's on the "Gish" album.

That's an unusual one! Yes, it's on Gish.
I think that their album Pisces Iscariot is very underrated, as is Adore. Pisces Iscariot was released after Siamese Dream and has songs like "Starla", "Soothe", "Blew Away" and "Pissant"

Grr, I can't choose...
I love "Today", "Cherub Rock", "Disarm", "Zero", "Tonight, Tonight", "Bullet with Butterfly Wings", out of just what's on the poll.
I suppose I'll vote "Disarm", since I've just learned to play that and have been playing it a lot lately.

Cherub Rock or Today i would say
Wow, sunday I was at this club and suddenly "Ava Adore" started to play and I blackened out, like, in pure joy and happiness, the world suddenly melted and it was me, ava adore and nothing, it was one of the greatest experiences in my mind. When I "woke up", I was kissing this girl and... gee, I dunno what else happened, but Ava Adore made my day sunday, really, funny you start a thread about Smashing Pumpkins, because it´s really stuck in my mind how amazingly happy they made me this weekend.

Whoa, I forgot about "Mayonaise"!
*slaps forehead*
That song is awesome.
"Fool enough to almost be it
Cool enough to not quite see it
Doomed
Pick your pockets full of sorrow
And run away with me tomorrow
June
We'll try and ease the pain
But somehow we'll feel the same
Well, no one knows
Where our secrets go..."

For the purposes of this poll, I put "Bullet with Butterfly Wings" because it's better than "Zero", and I'm in the mood for something loud.
Overall, I rather like "Lily (My One and Only)", "Galapagos", and "Landslide".

Yeah, damn right. It also contains the most emotional moment on the album at about 4:54!
Also has great riffs and guitar tone.

Yeah, at first, I never listened to the whole thing since it was so long. But when I actually did, I realized it was good.

I picked other, because there are too many to pick. My inclination is "Bullet With Butterfly Wings," though "Ugly," "Silverfuck," "Hello Kitty Kat," "Rhinoceros," "X.Y.U.," and "Tales of a Scorched Earth" are all up there.

I agree, although I'd add mayonaise and porcelina of the vast oceans as well.
Smashing Pumpkins are what got me into music so I almost want to say all of them but if I have to choose...
