I wouldn't be able to narrow it down to a single song, but my favourite LP by them is Sandinista!, for all its myriad flaws. So shoot me.

Hmm, this largely depends on what mood I am in. My favorites ones are The English Civil War, I Fought The Law, Bankrobber and Ivan meets GI Joe.
Well that's at the moment.

I'm very partial to Jamie Jones, as the rift hooks you in right from the start. Hi-energy punk rock at it's best. London's Calling another favourite, as is most of the album. Bankrobber, White Riot, Guns of Brixton.
To be honest, I like most of their stuff and the more I think about it, the harder it is to pin down an absolute favourite.

Possibly the best steal of a Kinks riff ever.
I like Spanish Bombs best myself.
There's only one choice.... "London Calling"!
The Clash is one of my fav bands - Punk Rock at it's best!

"white riot" is a classic but my favourite would have to be "white man in hammersmith pallais" by a long way.

The Clash are the greatest punk band ever, and have so many great songs, there is no way i could pick a favourite, so here's my top ten in no particular order: 1. London Calling 2. White Riot 3. I fought the law 4. Bank Robber 5. Rock the Casbah 6. Career Opportunities 7. Clampdown 8.Should I stay...
9. White man in the hammersmith palais and 10. Clampdown

Hmm... thinks of most obscure song by the Clash*... aha got to be one of these: Walk Evil Talk, Ammunition, In The Pouring Rain, Glue Zombie, Capitol Air, Mark Me Absent, How Can I Understand The Flies, I Know What to Think About You, I Never Did It, Sitting At My Party, I'm So Bored With You** or Deadly Serious?
* Ignoring the Spirit Of St Louis LP, obviously.
