This is how stupid my home state is.
That's why I love my good old' Pennsylvania. We have twice the state congressmen Texas has and 1/2 the land and 1/3 pop. Plus, ours are full time and Texas' are part time..
Philadelphia and Pittsburgh cannot do anything because of the rural middle and all their political clout. The two big cities who bring in 70% of the states revnue want a couple of million dollars to expand and support their public transportation systems but the rurals say no because they never use it, but they always push for higher milk price so they can get more money for themselves....
Also, PA switches back and forth between red and blue a lot. Through our nations history it has been both a Republican staunch supporter and a Democratic staunch supporter, for being the 2nd state we still cannot make up our minds.
