What's this all about? Your posts normally have such substance. I usually look forward to reading what you have to say. What's wrong?

...four ounces of rum on an empty stomach?

plus it's meant to be a bit of a joke. jokes don't necessarily have to be terribly substantial.

i never knew that anyone expected anything of me on here though. i'm sorry to disappoint you. :(

*guffaw*

the new buzzword now is "pro-birth", cause pro-lifers generally aren't in favor of most social programs, i.e., they care about you as a person only until you pop outta your mommy.

plus the whole support of the death penalty and all that...

that doesn't seem too pro-life.

however, pro-birth doesn't really work with the joke.

Hm.. lobbying to prevent another 30,000,000 abortions... worthwhile ambition in life?

Nah, collecting Star Wars figurines is so much cooler. ;)

hm. gaining the life experience to see that sometimes abortions are necessary and that you can't make decisions for other individuals?

no, forcing your uniformed opinion on others is so much cooler. ;)

Uniformed? Heck, no, man.. my opinions prefer the classic leisure suit/platform shoe/horn-rimmed shades combo.. it'd only be a uniform if they ALL wore 'em.. I mix it up. :)

And looking down on others for holding opinions that are no more arbitrary nonsense than yours are is even cooler.

Am I being too philosophical here? Probably. :(

hey, did you miss the bit about being intoxicated?

if so, review it.

hey, pro life people can disagree with the right to choose all they please, i don't care. it's when they try to force their beliefs on others that they cross a line and deserve ridicule.

Ah. And forcing them to accept thousands of (what they see as) unjustifiable homicides every day does not cross that line and deserve ridicule.

I don't think it's possible for one person to "force a belief" on another, especially if the second person is secure in their own beliefs.

I'm pro-life. And pro-choice. And pro- quality life. And why would anyone be anti-abortion and yet also anti sex ed, anti contraceptive and against any other sensible way of lowering abortion rates? Other than some reactionary moralistic superstition.
