Well, I think that she truly does want to have a relationship, but she's scared, so she tries to stay out of it.

And I know we're young. I'm not so horny that I'm using her to have sex early in my life. Half my reason is that I want to make sure that if she does really want to do it, she does it with someone I know won't run off if something happens. I'll admit it: I am a horny git. But I still care about her. I don't see it too much as using her: she told me without provocation that she wanted to lose her virginity, and I'm not going to force myself on her. I'm not even gonna bring it up. But we have talked about it, and all the safety concerns and countermeasures to pregnancy. We even discussed the possibility of pregnancy.
