What?

JUDICIARY AND JUDICIAL PROCEDURE.

What a snore. They should really try and spice the next edition up a bit.

It's not as bad as Title 26.

I doubt I will ever read the most boring thing ever written. I suspect that boring writing is often poor writing, I get disgusted by poor writing too rapidly to notice how boring it is. Dagnabit, do not use the editorial voice to tell me a pun was unintended, instead go back and remove it; or honestly point it out to me while telling me how proud you are of it and you want to be sure I notice it.

It needs more action. Perhaps a car chase, a shootout, something like that. It lacks a sex scene, which it needs. They really need to flesh out the characters a bit more, as they all kind of get jumbled together.
And it needsan evil twin.

No over-sexed woman stereotypes...
*sigh*

It needs a lot of work.

Hey, I would settle for some decent character development.

I don't know Title 28 has it good points, like the anotations, notes and amendments on Part III Chap. 57 where the dead court clerks go arround running the courts after their deaths, and get paid too. Who doesn't love Zombie court officers?

Now Title 26, especially 26A is a real snooze fest. There might be some interesting parts but I never noticed them.

----edit: I forgot where exactly in Chap 57 the Zombie Court Clerks showed up, so I looked it up, it was in Sec. 954. ----

I don't find it taxing at all.

I'm at the beginning of book four, except I lost it somewhere.
They are a bit long, but they aren't really as boring as trying to read, say, a lifetime of tax records for comprehension.

Long isn't a problem. I can plough through most of Turtledove's stuff and I read Musashi, a book which would probably be 1100-1200 pages if the size of the WoT hardcovers. The problem is the way the damned books are structured. Thin on really big plot, high on multitudes of miniplots that require so much friggin backround info the damned things start to read like travel guides.

COme to think of it, even Title 26 of the USC may pale before The Train From Nowhere. I haven't read it myself, but every review I've seen dwells on the complete lack of action in the entire novel.

On second thought, the most boring book is The Red Pony. The plan was to read it in one sitting. It took me over 8 hours to finish the damn thing. I zipped through the latest David Weber novel, a bit longer than most WoT books, in about 3&1/2-4 hours of solid reading for comparison.

The bit that was worst was that it's completely impossible to read without every other piece of American Legislation relating to national security, and really badly written too.
