I have to admit, getting rid of love just to stop all of the love poems that are thrown around might be worth it. They are so aweful beyond words! And Eros was, in early Greek mythos, one of the first three gods to come into existence. He might get pissed if you tried to burn him.

It all depends on the person, in my opinion. Love is to faciliate reproduction, so then naturally sex would be asssociated with love.

It's not weird. Your supposed to love the person you are with, before you make love together. Unless you just like fucking without love, but making love without love is meaningless.

I was going to vote "you're an idiot", but then I read your post. I'm not sure what point you're making, but it was obviously sarcastic. So I don't know how to vote.

I would like to put in my two cents though, about love. I'd kill myself if it were abolished in such manner and I'm not just being dramatic. A life without social connections, especially love, is not worth living.

Sure, it sucks when it ends and when you know it's out there but don't have it, but the delight when you get to experience it is totally worth it. And I haven't even, at almost 15, gotten to have full-blown romantic love, but there you go, even the mini teen version of mine is worth the suckiness.
