1) Encouraging? What?
2) They already have a male identity. They just don't have a male body to go with it.

That whole "Americans for Truth" site is annoying. Some of what they say, if it were true, which I'm not altogether sure of, is appalling, but using it to say all homosexuals are evil and such makes no sense.

Aggh.

They believe that hate crime laws should be repealed, for some odd reason or other.

Oh I don't know. How about cultures that mutilate their children without the child's consent? IE: Male and female circumcision. Parents who pierce their daughter's ears while they are infants or toddlers. Oooh - how about reconstructive surgery? (Like for cleft palates or webbed fingers.) Does that "mutilate their natural bodies" too? After all, God made little Mary with a cleft lip, and little Johnny with his sixth finger and tiny, unusable thumb.

There are (or were) a group of people trying to ban the moomins, if it exists, someone hates it.

Its a good issue actually, after all is circumsision right? i perosnally dont think so, it should at least be an adult consent thing. cleft palate and tiny unusable sixth finger though are different, they pose an actual impedement to the quality of life. Surgery should have consent from the patient where ever possible... oh blah ive lost my point. you get the idea.
