I'm creating my own political party...

.. and I need some advice.
I'm looking to know what the "issues" are that people care about politically.
All of the issues.
For the sake of fun and argument, as long as issues keep pouring in, I'll gladly answer and debate them here from my political parties point of view.
Maybe when I get enough written up I'll post a description.
My goal for my political party is to have one member besides myself by 2010.
And yes, this was inspired by that American Fascist Party thread.

interest rates, inflation targets, trade tariffs & quotas, stance on monopolistic competition, stance on nationalisation/privatisation, taxation, unemployment plans, other economic issues i cant think of right now.
they may not be things that the public generally are vocal or care about, but they are very important issues for a party.

Well, I was hoping for weirder issues.
Where has to be some far our issues there too, right?
Anyway, I'll answer this list for tonight, with breif, one phrase answers... just to get the ball rolling.
Of course.. I'm not American, but I can wing an answer out to the American system with what little I know of certian aspects of it.
Abortion - Sure, a human only begins to exist after birth, and thus it doesn't matter before, according to my new party.
death penalty - Rapists, murderers, and theft totaling greater then $100,000 at one time.
gay marriage - let them marry, doesn't physically affect anyone but them.
social security - needs reform, big reform. But shouldn't be privatised.
education - needs more reform then social security, need more funding and effort, and smaller class sizes.
foreign policy - let other nations do what they want with themselves, unless they openly offend my nation, or they have something my nation needs and they are unwilling to deal.
free trade - Sure, as long as it's totally free, and not lop-sided to one nation.
environment - If it's gone, we all die. So, let people do what they want with it, if we all die, it's our own fault as a species for being so stupid, and we probably deserve it. Although given the chance, would prefer nature be revered.
censorship - waste of time.
gun control - more of a waste of time. Register guns, know who has them, but let them have what they want.
minimum wage - raise it, but not too much.
immigration - Let people imigrate all they like, but through the legal process, those who imigrate the illegal way, should recieve death... or something cruel.
military budget - the military is fun, so they should get adequate funding (Espically in Canada.. but if this is the US we're talking, it can stay the same), but needs reform.
hate crimes - stupid idea, period. Crimes are crimes, and this idea has been abused enough.
affirmative action - also stupid idea. Let those who have the skills and intelligence get the postsion, regardless of race or religion.
healthcare - should be universally free, and allow people to spend more time and effort elsewhere.
taxation - taxes are needed for any government, but current systems need reform. Charge the rich more, but not an absurd ammount more like seems to be a socialist view.
big business - are ok, however certian industries should be government controled, such as certian natural resources, power, water, phones, and some heavy industry.
the war on drugs - drugs should be abolished completely. "Drugs are bad, mmmkay."

I'm just spewing them off as I hear them.
If I didn;t get to an issue listed, or my answer is the complete opposite, or has nothing to do with the actual issue. Please, tell me, and explain the issue to me.
I'm definatly going to need help sorting this out and writing up a more official syance on these things, but for now this will suffice to get some more feedback.
interest rates - high ones don't make people very productive, and don;t help an economy advance, and thus interest rates should be monitered and regulated per economic status.
trade tariffs - stupid idea, unless at war with the nation being tariffed, or said nation uses slave labour
stance on nationalisation/privatisation - certian things should be the governments job, and certian things it should stay out of. Should be considered case-by-case.
unemployment plans - unemployed aren't much good to the nation, and thus should get jobs. Buisnesses should be encouraged to hire, and possibly given incentives to hire.
land mines - all fun durring war. But should be cleared up imediatly following, or the nation using them should face severe reprecussions.
school lunches - minimum 1 hour.
farm subsidies - Farming should be privatised, but the produce market (which the farms would have to sell to) should be strictly regulated, to prevent starvation of the people.
corporate welfare - Buisnesses fail, it's their own fault.
social welfare - Nessicary, but needs reform. Shouldn;t be so easy to acheive, and those applying should require proof of looking for a job annually.
Agricultural land reform - Aggricultural land should be in the posession of those who farm it, not corporations, and not the state.
The debt burden - debt is bad, thus should be removed. Hopefully over a process of economic growth.
The poverty gap - Too big, should be equalised through taxation on the wealthy. But doesn't need to be completely equil, and doesn't need to be alot more taxation on the wealthy.

It needs a catchy name too.
The knowledge I am about to impart needs a warning. This should terrify you simply by the virtue of it's being the most intelligent thing you are ever likely to hear.
Call your party the C Party.
I gave that a moment to sink in so you would think it was stupid, thus helping to ease the blow of the intelligent part. At that point, whenever anyone opposes your party, you can write them off to the media by saying, "Oh, they're just a member of the Not-C Party."
If anyone didn't get it, just read the part in quotes, out loud, until you do.
