Richey Edwards, ten years on. Dead or alive?

Yes, I know this is a day late, and I'm sorry.
To those of you who don't know who Richey Edwards is, or why I'm asking this question - Edwards was a member of the Manic Street Preachers, writing most of the more powerful lyrics that they've done. He disappeared on the 1st February 1995, and his car was found at a motorway service station near the Severn Bridge just over 2 weeks later. Before his disappearance he was known to have been suffering from alcoholism and anorexia, and he had a history of self-harm (try doing a google image search on him). His body has never been found, leading to a lot of speculation over whether or not he is still alive.
Personally, I think he most likely is dead, although I would like to be proved wrong.

manics are going through a good patch right now; they've accepted not only who they were, but who they were.

I'd hope alive .. although I don't know too much about his disappearance.

And yes, the Manics are going through a good patch at the moment, great new album :)

I'd bet he's dead, unfortunately...
:(

He did the "4 real" thing on his arm that once. That was crazy. He was certainly dedicated to his music.

I can't imagine anyone being alive over 10 years after writing the Holy Bible lyrics. Is a little macabre for many i fear hence its under ratedness as a contemporary classic.
