*waves* Hiya! Yes, where would we all be without the computer? Probably out there somewhere ruining other peoples' lives.
At least here we can watch the Funny Cats Video: http://www.holylemon.com/funnycats.html

The Internet is a marvel.
I made the best friends I've ever known on the Internet, and yet, inevitably, it seems, they drifted away. And so I end up here.
The only reality is now. Live your life for now, I say, because this is where it's at.

Here is how to solve you dissatisfaction:
1. Nihilism
2. Hedonism
Drugs
Sex
I've tried 1 and 2a. 2b is probably the best of all, though. If you want a grasp on nihilism, try Grendel by John Gardner.
Is it me or do most people between the ages of 13 and 19 think their life is 'hell'?
Perhaps someone should put themselves into someone else's shoes who actually *IS* going through hell/or *has* been through hell before they deem themselves as having a hellish life. Granted, maybe this person didn't list all of the horrid things that they have been through. On the other hand, perhaps they did (considering the length of the post).
Look, life *can* suck. Most people know that and the people who don't know it will surely one day discover that fact. Just because some of us have certain times in our lives when things just aren't going our way doesn't mean we get to throw a pity party each time. I have no doubt that this person feels bad about their life thus far. They must remember, though, that this, too, shall pass.
And, no, *I* have not had a sunshiny happy bowl of cherries life. So, I know.

That was a really sweet post, so i had to write a wee reply even though you do not know me and I do not know you *grin
I was reading a Charles de Lint book the other day and there was this character whom seemed to have the affect of making people uncomfortable then downright unhappy to be in her presence...it wasn't her, but the fact that her shine was so bright, it challenged people too much...it was only others who had their own transparent shine or were comfortable with that that could be comfortable with her...
only a fictious character but a nice idea all the same, sometimes a person's mere presence challanges a person's pre-conceptions or idea of themselves...
sounds to me you'll continue to grow and evolve into a wonderful and empathic person.
blessings on your journey

We are really into melodramatic martyrisation. And no, it is not just you. Though a majority do not actually think that, a substantial number do.

Oh, I totally disagree. One should not compare their hell to another's hell; it's an entirely subjective thing, and no one comparable to another. Comparing hells would be nothing more than a pissing contest to see who can be tormented the most.
If this person has a hell, it is automatically a valid hell, as it is his hell. Hell hath no fury... but the living do. To degrade one's hell by comparison to another makes as much sense as comparing heavens.

Us adolescents who complain of hell do not know true hell. Though I have not experienced it, I know what a true hell would be like, and it is really just self-pity that adolescents experience. Though it actually typically is a worse hell in the long run, because it does not toughen the spirit. It is a very weak and pathetic person's hell. I would know.

Hey Pacitalia,
I don't know if you've heard of me, but as a RPer, I've certainly heard of you;)
Keep up the good work in RPing, and if you ever need any help let me know.
Also if you ever want to plan a RP together send me a TG.
*Saultes*
It's good ta know ya, Pacitalia. I wish you the best for the future.
Here's a song for you Pactalia. Music is always good when you're feeling down, and even more so if you can relate to it. 17 Years of Hell, by the Partisans. Just listen to it next time you feel that the past 16.99 years of your life have been hell and you'll feel better for knowing that you're not the only one. :)
*my reactions as I read this post*
Bah.
Hmmmm.
Cry me a river.
Dang, that sucks.
Hmmmm.
Sounds like me.
Cool...the kid is smart.
L'il brother, your words were clear and honest, and heard. Be strong because all I can say is that you seem to have a solid head on your shoulders, and all you need is to realize that YOU are a pretty cool cat. Eventually, the rest of us will notice too.
I would be honored to RP with you at any time.

"Think about it for a moment."
Being a teenager can really suck. I would never, ever repeat my teenage years. NEVER. I will take self-confidence and a more stable existence over the soul crushing lows and dizzying highs of adolescence ANY TIME. You're not alone in this, and the only advice I can offer is...just hold on...eventually it gets better!

life's journey can be tough. i have to say, not knowing you or anything but based on your post, you seem like you're well equipped to handle it. take it easy on yourself. for some of us, connecting with other people is difficult. doesn't make you any less human, though.
and... you have my best wishes for your birthday tomorrow. :)
