Some of you might remember the 1980's as a time of pop-rock music and the ever-lingering aroma of Aqua-net.
However in reality, a dark under publicised war of words was going on between the Eastern Socialist States and the Western Nations. But, was this war really just two or three governments trading insults? I am here to get my point across and to finnaly give the world the truth about that famous euro-pop song...."99 Luftballons"
I will show you the lyrics(Translated directly), and under each section , will be MY even deeper look into the song.

Okay, The Kremlin is now speaking to thier agent in the US. By using the words "if you have some time for me, then I will sing a song for you" realy means that the Kremlin wishes to speak to the agent about his assignment, which evedently has been codenamed Operation: 99 Red Balloons, which evidently refers to the "Red Communist Party" The 99 red balloons are not balloons at all, they are nuclear missiles, ICBM's rather, that are aimed at the United States. Red Balloons=Red (communist) Missiles. Again, reinforcing the fact that this is important information, the kremlin relays the message "Perhaps you will think of me a bit". Now, having the attention of the agent, they begin by telling him the nature of the message. 99 (meaning an undisclosed number) of balloons (missiles) and the possible par that will come after.

This passage is rather obvious. The US sends recon jets out to scout the Alaskan region at which russia, at wintertime comes in contact with the united states. there at the strait, they come across a few "blips" on the radar screens and decide to go in for a closer look, here they find the russian submarines being escorted by milssle-laden surface ships. Seeing the planes, the surface ships react and fire at the jets.

After this blatent show of hostility against the US jets, the planes fire back, but even so, the missile subs get thier shots off and level certain cities in the mainland US. At this point, the kremil aknowledges the fact that Canada will surly get nervous, and says "The neighbors didn't understand anything And felt immediately felt pissed off/provoked" Canada then decides to declare war on Russia.

Here comes the other side of the climax, The delagates and leaders of the free world gather to discuss the impending russian threat. It is here that russia realizes that they had found the perfect oppritunity and had made the perfect nuclear assult. The western nations are in a sort of "post attack denial" and cannot belive that this could possibly happen.

But the US and other nations organize a counter-assult and end up Launching their own Warheads at the enemy russia. This is where the world is brought into a cataclysmic apocolypse. and ends up having to go through the evolutionary stages all over again. over 300 billion years later, a early Human is wandering the Siberian Desert and comes across an undischarged nuclear missile. not knowing what it is, accidentaly sets it off and disrupts the very fragile ecosystem developing on our planet. thus ending the human race. possibly for a very long time.
