Indeed. Especially since, if the Myan Calendar, the I Ching, and even ( some alledge ) Nostradamus, are correct and the next Pope will be the last one! :eek:

I poke fun at the bastard all the time, but it sucks to be in all that pain and shit.

Its probably a precautionary thing. Anytime someone important gets ill they want them to go the hospital for extensive testing espically if they are aging. I'm surprised that he doesn't get flu shots since he would be considered high risk for disease.

I hope he recovers. I don't care what your politics or beliefs are, you have to admire the guy. At his age travelling that much and being the spiritual leader of hundreds of millions of people. And how many times has he been shot? That is one tough old guy, and to die from the flu would suck after all he's been through.
