The sad thing is that, after independence, Zimbabwe was actually one of the most prosperous places in Africa.

Back when it was called Rhodesia, yes. But as soon as the communists took over, everything went downhill.

Robert Mugabe is a great leader and beyond reproach. White imperialists are always trying to discredit him, but he's leading Zimbabwe in the right direction despite the best efforts of his enemies.

Yea, It was called Rhodesia and it was led by a semi-nazi called Ian Smith. Curiously, Mugabe was democratically elected..

[sarcasm]
He will be elected again. Im betting a 96% of the living, and possibly some dead people will vote for him.

He's seized land used by the white oppressors to grow tobacco, which only enriched the elites and given it to the peasants to grow maize, which feeds the nation.

Smith was no Nazi. Having fought against them in the Second World War, he was very much an anti-Nazi. Mugabe was never democratically elected. Every election he ever won was rigged.
