An obligatory first sentence to prevent people from knowing what the poll is about.

Have I mentioned recently that God is a bunch of hokey?

All the statistics magic in the world won't get you a useful answer to that question. I said 10% because I figure that the United States is the center of the universe and that if democracy fails here then something has gone horribly wrong the world over.

I guess the rest of the world is in trouble then... since the US isn't a democracy - and was, in fact, set up in such a way as to deliberately avoid being a democracy.

It might not be an accurate term, but it is the term applied to most representative forms of government. Almost none of these are a democracy, but democracy is the buzz word that got stuck on it somewhere along the way (surely not the fault of the founding fathers). Just work with me. If I called it what it is, I'd have to admit that other forms of representative government used around the world are not exactly the same as ours and that would cast doubt on my domino theory. Then I'd have absolutely no reason for voting for any of the choices in the poll.

LOL.

Excellent.

Okay - well, I can't argue with THAT theory. :)

Right now, the results are basically tri-modal. How fascinating! I guess it's probably just an indication of the way people think. It's still pretty neat, though.
