Stalin also had it in for the Jews too. Mostly in an effort to impress his little buddy Hitler. Of course Hitler was unmoved by his effort and invaded anyway, but if you look back at history, oppression of the jews is pretty much a constant in Russia, so this should surprise no-one.

Isn't it interesting that he never actually saw the results of his war? I mean come on, if I started a war, I would go out and see the horrors of it at least. Hitler went out of his way to avoid seeing the horrors that were going on. He lived miles away from anywhere, in the most beautiful country side. when he was riding in his train cars, he asked for them to close the drapes, cause he was too insecure to do it himself, and he didn't want to see what was going on around him. Yeah I just look up to someone like that.
