It doesnt make sence, wouldnt you think the man behind the attacks on America that killed thousands would be the most resposnsible? Not according to Bush I guess. Its funny, in the debates Kerry pointed out that Bush said he didnt care about Osama, Bush states that; he didnt think he ever said he didnt care about Osama.

Than the next day, all major newspapers and news sources (except maybe Fox and the Texas times) said that Bush in fact DID say those things and stated the quote.

Oh and if you are so dumb that you dont believe me, I will get proof for you.

Proof *is* generally a good thing to have to back up your arguments.

My feeling is, why waste time on lesser important issues like that when you get the gist of it.

Well, we captured the #3 man, and he's squealed so much, we caught 75 percent of the upper echelons of al-Q. Not Osama, but now he's cut off and has to hide in Waziristan.

Most of his lower level men have come to Iraq, where they are tied up fighting US forces instead of flying airliners over here. And they are losing men there - Zarqawi is still running around, but his immediate 3 underlings have been captured (they don't fight to the death, unlike the lower ranking guys).

Capture, torture, capture some more. Kill some. This sort of thing takes time.

Or do you think it would all be over, and we could declare victory if we caught Osama? Eh?

You have to capture ALL of them, and kill ALL of them. Takes time. And more than a few thongs.

To be fair, Bush does care about Bin Laden, at least a little. The guy is a nuisance, he's bad press. If he'd just present an identifiable corpse.....

Anyways, aside from that Osama doesn't control anything W wants. George can't use him as an excuse to invade anywhere anymore. Pakistan is publicly pro US (and they have nukes!) so his buddies can't use Osama as an excuse to plunder that country. Unless he shows up someplace else, he's not usefull anymore. I'm sure the Bush administration is working on the problem.

They're probably up late figuring out how to get Bin Laden to take a trip to Iran.

"I dont care about Osama Bin-Laden anymore, I dont think its that important, he's not a concern anymore." -The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Oh Im sorry, would you like a website, a video, a DvD, and a tape recording too? Is it my fault you dont watch the debates?

"Why doesnt Bush care about Osama?"

Um ... he does. There are still about 15 separate teams working full-time on finding Osama.

But the gist of his argument, errors aside, seemed pointless anyway. Kerry said that Bush said that Kerry lied about Bush saying that he didn't care about Osama? Who cares? That's why I felt like picking on poor spelling.

Well, I did watch the debates. Also, I don't appreciate ad hominem attacks.

I watched the debates, but I never heard Bush say he didn't care about Bin Laden, just Kerry saying bush said that. I don't know if he did, or didn't, really.

I saw a whole video montage about how Bush went from "No matter what " to "Hold on, I'm still taking a dump."

His priorities have changed. It happens over time. Whereas I'm no Bush supporter, you have to realize that Osama's a bit crippled with his organization falling to peaces. What good would taking out Osama do? It would cause unrest in al-Q at most, just as if someone were to take Bush out. And on that note...

Dear Mr. CIA Agent,

If you are reading this, please note that my former statement was in no way a wish for the death of President George W. Bush. If you still see it as such, then I only ask that you not torture me too rough.

Hey, one other thing on that. I'm not arguing against or with the guy here, I just don't care, so I wasn't using my spelling attack to try and make him look wrong. In retrospect, yes, my comment was pointless and a waste of posting. I apologise to the thread-starter.
