Occidio's thread about tattoos made me think about piercings, as the two often go hand in hand. What I'm wondering is, what do you guys have pierced? I myself would like to get my eyebrow pierced, or perhaps my lip, but for now, nothing. So comeon guys..what do you have pierced?

cool thread. i was really into piercing at one point. to into it. now, i have taken them all out. however, i had my nose done in the seventh grade, waaayyy before people thought it was cool or different, it just grossed everuyone out.i have had my septum, my 8 times each, nipples, bellybutton twice, surface piercing on my face, top of wrist and chest. i also had my tongue, thinking about redoing that one though.....i had a really fun private piercing too...... whoo hoo.

but, when i got to mortuary college, i started thinking a lot about how many people had them, how many germs could get into mine working corpses, and my tatttoos were enough. so, gone they are.

i don't have any piercings but my friends with the tattoo place have some serious body modifications. both have horn implants and their tongues split, and candy has like a zero gauge bent barbell implanted in the top of her hand.

I once heard of a guy who's got a prosthetic ear pierced, but as for me I don't have any holes I didn't come with.

I think nipples are thw WORST to get done, even worse than other private areas. My friend J had one done, it still weeps two years later.

I had an eyebrow bar, tounge stud and the top of my ear done, I took them out for work (health and safety) then a month later, when I had one birthday too many (under 21s can be paid less here in Australia) I came into work one day to find that the boss had hired some teenager and I was given the arse! :mad:

its out now. but thanks. it does improve your sex type activities. so, when i broke up with the guy i got it for.... i took it out.

Dood. The first nipple is a cake walk...the second nipple. now THAT's something to tell The S&M'rs....

I got my tongue...a few (more then a few I spose) in my ears...nipples. And to be honest. My Belly button hurt more then my nipple (you know...the second one..hehe) . :confused:

Third in my eyebrow was probably my worst, after the first two it felt like I had been punched in the eye a few times, then jabbing a needle through again was pretty bad. Doesn't compare to any of my non-self-inflicted injuries though.

My body seems to be very opposed to piercings, one nipple piercing grew out already and the other isnt too stable anymore. So i abstained from piercing more. The ear ones are just fine for years now.

no it doesn't affect speach at all, though it may have been a bit rough for the first day or so, the tongue actually heals really fast.

Ok...I saw this thread and my tongue has been bothering me since like thursday...it doesn't LOOK infected, but it feels kinda sore on the bottom behind the bar.

i couldn't really say if its infected, but if it gets worse i'd take it out. did you change jewelry recently?

I had my navel and my tongue done, but took them out for med school/ballet. I miss my navel piercing *sniff*

I also had an industrial in my left ear, but took it out for school.

two in the upper cartilage of my left ear, and my tongue. i've had two eyebrow piercings in the past but took them out because i was applying for internships. i've never had either earlobe pierced. if i ever take out my tongue stud i would like to get my lower lip pierced, but i don't want to have a lip ring and a tongue stud at the same time.

No I haven't changed it for quite awhile. I am going with the "wait and see" method.

Other than my tongue I just have 2 holes in each ear and my belly button.

I used to have my eyebrow, nose, left nipple, and a couple more holes in each ear....but they never seemed to work out.

I took my tongue ring out on monday night. It has felt better since then, but today it is feeling a little sore. :(

I wonder how much that hurt...

I'm pretty satisfied with the number of holes I started with. I never felt an interest in making more. Though I'm not averse to it. If ever the day comes when I say to myself, 'I think I need a hole here. I have some jewelry I need to display.' I'll probably get a new hole.

Piercings?
2 in each ear, used to have a tongue piercing but it healed over by now since I haven't had anything in it for a long time.
I've done some really stupid shit with trying self-piercing, and I'm glad I didn't get an infection or anything. I somehow managed to do a bellybutton piercing after downing pordigious amounts of painkillers. Surprisingly, the scar is almost not visible anymore.
My insanity hasn't killed me yet!

I've only got a couple of ear piercings & a tattoo, all of which I've had forabout 10 years.
