Some say that Las Vegas is the city of sin. Personally, I believe that Hollywoodis the TRUE city of sin.

They're constantly telling us to "be thin, stay healthy", resulting in millions of girls getting anorexia. They're also so obsessed with youth that even 17 or 18 yearold teens are getting cosmetic surgery and breast implants so they can show off cleavage and fake chins for the prom. :sniper:

Even worse, are all those damned horror movies. I hate them! They're immoral! Glamourizing grotesque deaths, and violent violence in video games. :mp5: Even worse, hollywood seems to promote violence against women! :mad: I like women! :fluffle: (EDIT: Almost too much, in fact :D)

Even the romance movies tick me off! SO unrealistic! And sappy and disgusting! Promoting fantasies that will almost never happen! Why do you think there's such a friggin high divorce rate?

If i was in charge, I'd ban all movies except for comedies and natural disaster movies.

In Biblical times, it was feasible to attribute some value to a single city. Nowadays, attributing the entire corruption of American popular culture to one city is just hopelessly simplistic. Hollywood is a symbol, while you're banging the symbol the actuality will corrupt your virgin daughters.

Also, New York, Paris and Milan do just as much to harm women's self-image.

Hollywood is an illusion, nothing more or less. If you look to Hollywood for promises, role-models or moral guidance, you're so screwed.
