No longer do we gamers have to rely on mere sight and sound to have a full gaming experience, now we can smell the action!!

And here I thought the article was about the smell of gamers.
I've noticed that certain tabletop wargamers have a peculiar and unpleasant stench about them that can be picked up from a considerable distance without strong ventilation. Since most of these offenders tend to play GW games, I call this pheonomenon Odorhammer.
But back to the real topic...
With current technology though, won't it be a bit expensive and awkward? Aside from the bugs related to getting the interface to send in the proper smell and the environment, there's going to be the issue of scent cartridges that need to be replaced periodically and might add to the price of the unit and/or games. And do you really want to go crawling about in the sewers in say Hitman with this thing on?
This will be cool, but...
...Think of the noxious odors you'll smell after a long bout of Unreal Tournament 2000-Whatever. Decomposing blood smells quite awful, you know.

That said...
This is an interesting technology, but frankly, it doesn't seem all that wonderful to me. It doesn't really appeal to me.

Doesn't really interest me actually...but damn man it could make some good games a hell of a lot more realistic...
