Is Baluchistan Burning?

This is a question to all, but mostly at the Pakistanis. If you have experience with Baluchis, please respond, objectively.

Little ethno-nationalist groups are always to be found in diverse countries, but the violence seems to make what is happening daily in Jammu and Kashmir look like child's play.

How much popularity does this insurgency have? Note: I am not saying the discontent with Islamabad's negligence, I am talking of the armed anti-national struggle in Baluchistan. What will it take to get the entire population to campaign against Pakistan?

Next, I came across the fact that in the 1946 elections, the Indian National Congress defeated the Muslim League handsomely in Baluchistan. In fact, when Jinnah (or one of his aides) had gone to garner votes in Baluchistan, mobs stoned at him so much that the rally had to be abandoned.

Have the Baluchis maintained their secularism? If so, maybe India will be compelled to aid the Baluchi struggle. After all, the Baluchis were Indians only 57 years ago.

As an Indian (a secular one), nothing would delight me more than the secession of Baluchistan from Pakistan and its entrance to the Union of India. After all, we should have done the same with Bangladesh.
