Well, because I'm 100% pure and selfless - much like all governments - I'd distribute it with 100% perfected equality. No one would starve, war and poverty would disappear overnight, and the human appetites for power and greed would be completely satisfied among my 6 billion wards. Ah! Paradise!

In reality, if all the money in the world were held by one person, it would loose its value. People would begin bartering, or finding different forms of money.
Remember that money by itself isn't wealth, it's an indicator of wealth. the value of money is very fluid.

Well, since it would rapidly become worthless, there would be little merit in giving it out or keeping it. Burning it would be a waste of effort, considering the amount of money in the world. So I'm gonna put other, because I'd probably just let it sit in my garden until people did what they wanted with it. Or didn't. I wouldn't care what would happen to this now worthless money.
I would buy the world a coke, and teach them to sing in perfect harmony. Except the tone deaf people, they get shipped to the re-education camps! ;)

What about those who don't drink coke for religous reasons?... IE mormons
I would take all the money (assuming it had value), and unite the world into a world government. I'd have a world-wide infrastructure built, essentially ending hungry, disease, and poverty. Then, with this new world, I'd pour huge amounts of money into space exploration and colonization. With a new frontier for the discontent humans to explore and colonize, crime would decrease, population problems would disappear, and humanity would no longer be bound to a single, frail planet. :)

I would start everyone off with an equal amount of money to invest in new businesses as thye travel the world, as I start a chain of banks. People will accumulate vast amounts of wealth through chains of apartments and hotels until one person has driven all of the others bankrupt, and takes my position. Dibs on the hat.
