Want to know if any of you have problems saying I love you to any of your parents out there? I have a tough time telling my dad..becuase he likes to shake hands even after I havent seen him for however long.. This man just don't understand this....

I haven't told my father "I love you" that much lately, but it's not something I'd have a problem doing.
My mother and I have no relationship at all so I wouldn't tell her I love her. I don't even LIKE her at times.

Yes, I tell them as often as I can - I don't get to use the word 'love' properly often enough, it's one of the rare occasions. As far as it's use being unmanly - well, I hope you never have to find out how hard it is not to have said it when it's too late. You better make damn sure that people around you know it if its true - thats all I can say.
