I actually learned clowning on my own. But the following summer I went to Clown Camp in Wisconsin. It was a six week clown college course. Fun stuff.

There were required lessons and optional seminars we attended to fill our days. For instance, I went to seminars on clown magic, juggling, improvisation, face painting, physical comedy and a handful of others. Though a lot of the advanced material taught in these seminars were touched on basically in the standard courses.
