"Alright, Data, what haver we got?" asked Captain Picard, sitting in his daily staff meeting.
"We have come across an ancient program while looking threw acienct computing history. We think it might by effective on the Borg".
"Explane."
"It's an old operating program called Windows 95. It's a demanding service that, once installed into a computer, while demand that the memory be filled up, forcing it to use up system resources."
"Won't the Borg be able to adapt to it," asked Riker.
"Yes, except that Windows can adapt too. When it senses that it's been overcome, it comes up with a new version of itself, an upgrade. Windows 95 becomes Windows 98, and then 2000 and on. The Borg will be spending all their time trying to get it under control. And that's when we strike."
"That's perfect, Data. Make it so."
So, will Windows 95 find a way to crash the Borg, or will the Borg find the key to survival?
