Can somebody explain to me how people just downright refuse to accept something with constantly growing proof, which we can see for our own eyes?

I'm not against god or the bible or anything, but there has to be a point where they understand the overwhelming evidence, yet they just downright refuse to accept it.

Well i semi-believe in evolution, but here is why it easy to refute it if your religious.

G-d is omnipotent...., do you not think that G-d can create a full evolutioned species, and for the heck of it throw some dead bodies, where those creatures could've evolved from?

Remember G-d can do anything.... Basically it can also come down to Satan trying to convince us otherwise, of course depending on your religion, they each have a different saying about evolution.

Pretty much correct, When writing his name, unless it is inside the Torah, or a quote from it, one should always censor the word G-d...in any language, not just out of respect and such, but because any person could let's say, print this out, and rip destroy his name.

In english, when talking i generally use the word HaShem instead. I sometimes use the word G-d, but mainly HaShem which means "The Name"

For me the evidence is not overwhelming. The whole concept of evolution to me is just absurd. And I'm not bringing religion into this at all.

I'd say the same thing about people who chose not to believe in the overwhelming evidence that supports the voracity of the Bible. IMO, science will eventually come around to providing sufficient evidence to support Creationism. It may take a thousand years of evolving theory, but in anycase, like the John and Peter and Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, I chose to believe the Word of God over the teaching of man. I've seen too much divine intervention in my own life and the lives of those I love to believe otherwise.

Evolution does not clash with any religion whatsoever at all. Evolution attempts to explain how living beings got to their present forms, not how they were made to begin with.

And we see evolution fairly regularly, though on a forced scale. Look at various breeds of dogs people have created by mating specific parents with desirable traits. Same with cats. Want an example of random mutations that are passed on to offspring (which is one general premise of evolution)? Look at the cats decended from Ernest Hemmingways pet cats. They all have an extra toe. There are also hairless cats that are a fairly new breed (about 50 or so years, I think), and cats with round ears that suddenly started being born in California around twenty years ago. Even humans have evolved in the past 200 years or so, though on a much more slow scale: our teeth are smaller than the skeletons of the dead from 200 years ago, we are in general otherwise taller and less broad of shoulder.

Even if you discount Macroevolution (Primitive Manape thing--Man and Ape), then you can look around and see Microevolution (Man/animal developing new traits that are not distinct enough to warrant a seperate species but still different than before, and passing them on to their offspring).

I'd say the same thing about people who chose not to believe in the overwhelming evidence that supports the voracity of the Bible.

I do believe in evolution myself, but don't agree with the notion that not believing in it is automatically believing in creationism. It could be something else entirely, or maybe a combination of the two; evolution could be just a tool that the Divine use to create humans. Or, to be very abstract and metaphysical, one could reverse the aspects of cause and effect, making the goal of development of man (or other species) the very cause driving evolution.
