Apologies beforehand, but:

With his newfound enthusiasm for politics, does anyone else here agree that Eminem is obviously Libertarian?

(Think South Park).

Exactly who I hoped would respond...

C'mon, you don't think his politics basically fizzle toward Libs?
I see him speaking about this in the next 10 yrs. U heard it here first.

Not Fox.

Isn't he one of the artist who has spoken out against piracy?

Personally, I don't think he really knows what he stands for except anti-Bush.

Point taken, save that the antipiracy movement isn't really a winger postion at all.

I'm not sure either if he knows where he stands, but I suspect if he has any conclusions, they arrive at Libertarianism.
Just my opinion.

Now that you mention it, he did have an album named The Marshall Mathers LP . . . I wonder what LP could stand for?

Wow. I had no idea that the lib public's pretense was Eminem suxx arse.
I really am stunned.
I've always found him amusing.

Not at all. I've had my faggy moments, and I'm not offended.

Fagz means something else other than gay.

He also had the Slim Shady LP, and in music, an LP is a special type of album that hasn't been altered from its original form. It is a "Long Play" because it's not being cut off by the industry.

Say what you will about Eminem, but truth is...he's a very talented artist. I know people who despise rap will disagree, but he is wicked smart. He's a modern day poet except he's kinda naughty. (sigh)

I usually see Rap for being the undeserved pop phenomenon that it is.
Eminem is talented.
There's a diff.

I think the Eminem Show was good and everything else by Eminem sucked, especially Stan.

Figured that out,but thanks for being patronizing. I also realized that many of the people here would have been confused by the rhetoric.

Stan was not a fav of mine. Indeed the Eminem Show is great, I think. How sweet to have his daughter on there too. "My Dads gone crazy" is just funny as hell to me.

I also think he did an excellent job in 8 mile -to have never been in a motion pic before.

I don't really like rap. But I'll admit that Eminem has some talent.

Ah yes Lose Yourself is my favorite rap song. I think Sing for the Moment is the best song from Eminem Show, I also liked Drips because it is pretty catchy and amusing, though most people are put off by the STD imagery.

The other Eminem CDs are all subpar I think, and even though I agree with the sentiments of Mosh it is one of the dullest pieces of music I have ever listened to.
