What do you think the greatest work of art of all time is? By Art I mean paintings, sculptures, drawings etc. I don't mean songs or poetry or that sort of thing. Also please post links so we know what the hell you are talking about.

I don't know a heck of a lot about art but my favorite has to be The Garden of Earthly Delights (http://zeus.ekt.gr/~vnatsios/paintingDetails.php?id=2&lang=en) (center panel). This painting has it all; birds eating people, naked dudes hanging out with jesus, weird mutants, giant fruit and other such insanity. Right panel (http://zeus.ekt.gr/~vnatsios/paintingDetails.php?id=3&lang=en) / Left Panel (http://zeus.ekt.gr/~vnatsios/paintingDetails.php?id=1&lang=en)

Ooh I saw that in London, thats some cool shit. The funniest thing was the week before I went there, a religious nut with a hammer went there and smashed a bunch of the corpse things. What a wierdo.

hehe kind of an evidence that things in the past were perhaps not as "pure" and innocent as some would have us believe. Funny thing is when examining the painting close up it almost appears as if she knows he is there. I happen to think it is her father behind her but I could be wrong he just looks older close up in the painting.

Toss up between two of Michelangolo's sculptures. David and Pieta

I had the privilege to see them both in person...and I have to say that any pictures you have seen hardly do them justice.
