I've just realised how they could have made the film FACE/OFF even better:
At the bit where Nick Cage wakes up in the hospital, John Trovolta comes on teh tv.
"Hey Nick*, guess what? All your face are belong to us!"
*or whatever his name is in the film
Both the Simpsons and Family Guy were referencing Yakov Smirnoff's (sp?) act.
He was that short russian comic with the beard and the inhale laugh during the 80's. His entire act consisted of 'In My country...' and 'In soviet Russia...' lines that made little sense. It was pretty fun back during the Reagan years, but it grew stale pretty quick and the guy never really grew out of his niche.
